The REN Building in Shanghai, designed by Copenhagen-based architects Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), is an innovative architectural concept symbolizing the human body in harmony. Shaped like two interlocking towers, the structure represents the Chinese character “人” (Ren), meaning “person.” One tower houses a hotel and conference center, while the other contains a sports and wellness facility. The design integrates architecture, culture, and sustainability, creating a striking, human-centered landmark.
