The Lotus Temple in New Delhi, designed by architect Fariborz Sahba, is a marvel of modern architecture. Shaped like a blooming lotus flower, it features 27 free-standing marble-clad petals arranged in clusters to form nine sides. The temple’s structure, inspired by the symmetry and purity of the lotus, required innovative engineering to create its complex curves and support the vast central hall. It stands as a symbol of unity and peace.
